Sunset Boulevard...

I finally saw it this past weekend. Strange. Odd. Loved it. William Holden is a hot. T.

Sad. But true. What struck me was her mansion. Huge. Cavernous. Empty. Like so many "stars." Their fame. The very thing they wanted so much. Is their pergatory. Glamorous. Living being walls. In secrecy.

I guess I don't see the point. Is it for the "art?" or the "craft?" I don't know. I think it's fame and money. They have it. But they seem so very lonely. That doesn't seem like much of a life to me. Great flick though.

'tis true.

money and fame do not buy happiness.

seems to me mostly loneliness and isolation .....
