Life....

Oy. Life is wierd. A week goes by and it feels like a month. Where did July go? August anyone? Is it September yet? It can't be October. Wow.

Lilly is now officially 2 years old. Unreal. She got her official first time out the other day. She slapped Daddy David across the face while he was reading a book. Then climbed up on the dining room table and screamed. Oh. To be 2. Why? She's 2. She has very little idea as to what her emotions are. Just several months ago she was saying goo-goo-ga-ga so how do we now expect her to be Dr. Phil? Silly really. Primal really. If you're angry lash out. Simple. Stressful. Yet simple.

The galley pages for the book are done. Handed in. Another deadline come and gone. I'm tired of the book. I hate the book. Can't wait until it's done and out. Who wants it? Who is going to read it? Who cares? All questions in my mind. After Sonny died Cher did a special tribute on CBS. On Leno said she took some flack over it by critics who said she did it for the money. "Yeah," Cher said. "I painted a big red target on my ass and said here, come take your best shot at it." That's how I feel with the book. Take your best shot. Don't buy ammo. It's all right there on the pages. I don't want anyone to read it. My ego says something different.

Still no internship at the psychiatric center. Contract was done and signed last week. But. My school made changes to the contract in the margins. That's a legal no-no. Psych center said no. Now it's back to the attorney's. More waiting. Find another internship? Good luck. I've called 12 other places. Need contracts. Can't wait that long.

Is everyone gay? I think so. Two of my professors have to be gay. Married w/kids but I know better.

My sister is ready to talk. I'm not.

My mother is ready to change. I'm not.

Talked to Michelle on Lilly's birthday. Sounded wonderful. We're working on Lilly's brother/sister starting in November. More contracts. More questions. More more more. Make it stop.

David and I need couple's counseling. That's what my shrink says. Here we go.

TGIF.
